Spaghetti Squash

I never realized how filling and low calorie spaghetti squash is until I tried it. It’s extremely low calorie and healthy. It tastes more watery and less al dente than real pasta, but it’s an awesome way to eat vegetables and it is incredibly high volume. Top this with your favorite protein source and good luck finishing the whole thing.

Notes

1. Use oven mitts to handle the spaghetti squash because it gets very hot when microwaved. 2. Cutting the spaghetti squash horizontally allows for longer pasta strands because the strands follow a circular motion/ If you cut lengthwise (top to bottom), you’ll get shorter spaghetti stands.
